Lamb Curry


1kg Lamb, cubed

2 Tablespoons Oil

2 Onions, chopped

1 Tablespoon chopped garlic (to taste)

2 Tablespoons Rajah Flavourful and Mild Curry Powder

2 teaspoons of tumeric

1/2 teaspoons ginger (or freshly grated)


2 Tablespoons White Vinegar

100ml Worchester Sauce

100ml Tomato Sauce

100ml Chutney

1 heaped teaspoon Brown Sugar

1/2 teaspoon Mustard Powder

3 Coriander Leaves

1 Squeeze of Lemon Juice

1 Mutton Stock Cube

1/2kg Baby Potatoes, washed

1 Handful of Baby Carrots,

1 Handul of fresh Green Beans (cut in half)


1. Dust meat with flour

2. Fry onions in oil

3. Add ginger and garlic

4. Mix curry, turmeric, sauces, sugar, vinegar, mustard and leaves

5. Add to pot and fry for 1 minute

6. Add meat, mix well, and fry for 2 minutes

7. Add salt, water and stock cubes.

8. Simmer for 2 hours

9. Slowly add vegetables and simmer for 2o minutes
