Mince & Green Bean Curry

Mince & Green Bean Curry

Preparation time: 15 Minutes
Cooking time: 40 Minutes
Serves: 4 to 6


1 Tbsp. (15 ml) of Cooking Oil
1 Onion, finely chopped
½ Green Pepper, finely chopped
1 Tbsp. (15 ml) of Rajah Flavourful & Mild Curry Powder
2 Tomatoes, chopped
400 g of Beef Mince
1 Cup (250 ml) of Water
1 Knorrox Beef Stock Cube
1 Handful of Green Beans, cut in half


  1. Heat up the oil in a medium size pot, and gently fry the onion and green pepper until soft.
  2. Add the Rajah Flavourful & Mild Curry Powder and tomatoes and fry for one minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Add the beef mince and fry until well browned.
  4. Stir in the water and stock cube and bring to the boil. Then reduce the heat and allow to simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the green beans and allow the mixture to simmer for a further five minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Serve with rice or pap.
