2 cups chana or lentils, soaked overnight
1 onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp Rajah Medium
Salt and cracked black pepper, to taste
- Make the dhal by cooking the chana or lentils in a pot filled with 6 cups of water for about 30 minutes or until soft.
- In a frying pan, saute the onions and Rajah spice together until the onions are soft and the spices are fragrant.
- Once the chana or lentils are soft, stir the onion mix into the pot and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Season well.
